The Ultimate 2016 Buffalo Bills Draft

Looking at needs, and players that I think would be a good fit for the team, here is my ideal draft for the Bills.

(Obviously, if I were really the GM, I wouldn't go into a draft with specific positions pigeonholed to each pick. However, I wanted to name a few honorable-mentions, so to speak in certain cases. If I did that and mixed positions it would add too many variables to do this sort of mock. If I were to say I want OL so-and-so here, but if he's not available I'll take LB so-and-so, it would throw off all of my next picks. So, for simplicity sake, I just stuck to one position per pick.)

1.19 - Reggie Ragland, LB, Alabama
Much needed interior LB help. Would likely allow Preston Brown to move back to the outside.

2.18(49) - Le'Raven Clark, OT, Texas Tech
My top choice would be Cody Whitehair, OL, Kansas State, and while many folks have him falling this far I really think he'll end up going ahead of schedule.
Honorable mention: Shon Coleman, OT, Auburn

3.17(80) - DL - Sheldon Day, DT, Notre Dame
Day should definitely be available at this pick. I think he's underrated. I love his burst and pursuit. He should be versatile enough to play DE in a 3-4.

4.19(117) - WR - Devon Cajuste, WR, Stanford
Big physical WR, that could be a very good redzone, or between-the-numbers target. He could play some TE or H-back roles.
Honorable mention: Charone Peake, WR, Clemson

4.41(139) - S - Tyvis Powell, FS, Ohio State
I like Corey Graham, but the Bills definitely need to groom the future and add some depth.
Honorable mention: Derrick Kindred SS, TCU (This could be a reach at this point, and drafting him would probably mean he, or one of the current SS's would need to move to FS. However, he's someone I'm intrigued by, so he gets the mention.)

5.18(156) - QB - Vernon Adams
Adams is the next Russell Wilson - guaranteed. Ok, that's a huge stretch, but the Bills need to add a QB to take EJ Manuel's spot on the roster, in my opinion. That said, he's fairly similar to Tyrod Taylor, so that could lend itself to some good learning opportunities - the scheme will match his skill set.

6.17(192) - OT - Dominique Robertson, OT, West Georgia
My top choice here would be Kyle Murphy, OT, Stanford, but I'm pretty sure he'll be long gone. Robertson is raw, but with coaching could develop into a quality player. He has the size and athleticism required for a good OL. This pick could potentially add depth at OG, as well.

6.43(218) - DL/LB - Stephen Weatherly, DE/LB Vanderbilt
Weatherly is a versatile pass rusher with some potential. He's definitely the kind of guy I'd take a late round shot on.
